Under the direction of Mro. Alan Chircop, the National Orchestra will play the prelude to Act 1 from La Traviata by G. Verdi; the Prelude to Act 1, Entr'acte Act 2 and Rarcarolle (Intermezzo Act 3) from J. Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffman and the Overture from Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss II. A number of free tickets will be available to the public from Monday, 16 April from the Central Bank of Malta, Valletta. Patrons are asked to make a voluntary contribution, which will be donated to charitable institutions.

The next match is the second from the much coveted doubles league, at Manoel Island. Some 24 teams will take part for a total of 48 anglers. Prizes will be awarded to the section winners and first five overall placings.

Popeye Village – Anchor Bay.
A multitude of activities for all the family: Boat Trip around Anchor Bay (weather permitting), audio-visual show at the cinema.
The animation team keeps visitors involved in the four different shows being held. Team Adventures such as trekking, mountain biking, abseiling, jeep safaris, treasure hunts, beach games, water sports and carting. Souvenir shop, Popeye's restaurant, children's world fun park.
