A new oratorio called "Dun Gorg!" will be performed
at 7.30pm at St Johns Co-cathedral in Valletta. Entrance
is free. A commemorative booklet including the full text of "Dun

Pieta
The topic will be The Confessions of St Augustine of Hippo.
The sessions will consist of a reading of long sections from 13
books of the confessions followed by a study of the main elements
of each book, reflections, prayer and agape after each session.

University of Malta
The University of Malta Library will be hosting an exhibition
of books and manuscripts by Dun Gorg Preca (1880-1962) founder
of the Society of Catholic Doctrine (Museum). The exhibition focuses
on a vitally important facet of the personality of Dun Gorg -
namely his use of the printed medium and masterly use of the vernacular
in conveying the Christian message to the worker classes. Open

Festival of senses

For the first time, students with special needs are having
their own festival to celebrate creativity. Five schools will
join a British college to present a 90-minute programme of song,
dance, music and drama at the St James Creativity centre. Also
on display is an exhibition of art work by children with special

Classical Concert
Valletta
An "Evening with Freddie Mizzi" is a concert of
classical and contemporary music that will be presented by the
Malta Chamber of Commerce at the Manoel Theatre.
During the concert Mro. Mizzi will perform on his golden clarinet
awarded to him by the internationally renowned firm of Boosey
and Hawkes Musical Instruments for his distinction in clarinet
playing. Booking for this event will be open to the general public
as from 11 May from the Manoel Theatre Booking Office.
