S.S. plays dirty over judge and officer

Carabinieri complete investigation on Maltese und erwater coffin
An operation carried out by divers from Messina’s Carabinieri investigating the wreck of the sunken Maltese fishing vessel, the Yiohan, in which just under 300 illegal immigrants had drowned, concluded on Friday.The search, which had commenced two weeks ago, was successful in locating and extensively filming the wreck, which had sunk on 26 December 1996 – bringing 283 hopeful yet illegal immigrants along with it to a watery grave.
