Sharon jumps on the Brussels gravy train

The Campaign for National Independence activist Joe Zrinzo yesterday accused IVA activists of campaigning for Europe because they wanted to jump on the Brussels gravy train.

But as he said this Sharon Ellul Bonici, Labour candidate and fellow CNI activist was making her final preparations for a Brussels job. She will be leaving in the very near future together with her three children.

The Brussels job is handsomely remunerated and will be linked to the EDD, a rightist, eurosceptic group characterised by a small but vociferous association of fundamentalist hunters, nationalists and right wing spokesmen. The group, which is considered to be a fringe one, says in its mission statement that it is open to people who are critical of further European integration and centralisation.
