Eurovision
Song Contest
Ira Losco places second
Malta came second in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest held
yesterday in the Estonia. The winner was Latvian entry 'I
Wanna' sung by group 'Marie N'. Malta was winning half way
through the contest, but in the end, the larger number of
countries neighbouring the small north-European state of Latvia
made the difference. Ira Losco with her song '7th Wonder'
obtained the best placing ever for a Maltese entry in the
Eurovision Song Contest. |
