Simon Busuttil plays down BA's decision
The head of the Malta-EU Information Centre Dr Simon Busuttil, played down the implications and ramifications of the Broadcasting Authority’s decision to give the MLP air time to "ensure impartiality in terms of the Constitution and the law." He said that he wanted to make it clear that the decision of the Authority" in no way censors the work of the MIC." Dr Busuttil said he was satisfied that the Broadcasting Authority did not accept the MLP’s request that the MIC slots be declared "political slots".
