Alfred Mifsud tight-lipped after ordeal

Labour Party candidate Alfred Mifsud was uncharacteristically
tight-lipped when contacted by MaltaToday for his reaction to the
controversy that erupted over recent declarations he made on VAT
and the EU referendum

School children are still eagerly waiting for the day when
they will be able to receive their annual school examination results.
However, when questioned by MaltaToday, the Ministry of Education
has confirmed that all students will progress to the next year of
their studies and in those cases where the classes are streamed,
the students will be allocated their classes according to the mid-year
results
Tougher rules for hot dog and toy stalls
during feasts

Permits for the erection of food stalls, mainly those selling hot
dogs and toy stalls have been made tougher to obtain by the Local
Councils. This is the reason why fewer and fewer stalls have applied
for permits in this years summer feasts extravaganza
