Green Party launches green ribbon campaign

VALLETTA - Alternattiva Demokratika launched its Green Ribbon Campaign during a press conference in Valletta on Saturday morning. Through this campaign the Greens aim to raise funds for the coming electoral and referendum campaigns.

Stephen Cachia, the Green Party’s General Secretary said, "Alternattiva Demokratika is aiming to bring about a breath of fresh air in Parliament and Local Councils. None of us is as good as all of us and one's participation by means of a donation would be one's contribution to help the Green family keep growing. Everybody is invited to participate by sending an SMS to 618100 to donate Lm2.”

The party places emphasis on a stable, transparent, and responsible Government through which Malta would form part of the EU as a neutral member. Sustainable development and quality of life, a sustainable economy, equal rights, civil society participation, social inclusion, social justice, fair taxes, the polluters pay principle, anti-hunting and trapping reforms, sustainable tourism, public transport reform and rent law reform are all issues being tackled by AD.

AD-The Green Party is rapidly becoming a credible third political force vying for leadership and parliamentary representation. In the past few months, the party has reportedly witnessed a 67% increase in membership and a resounding feedback from home visits in various districts.
