After the horrific attack on the Mnajdra two years ago wardens
were posted to guard several of Maltas sites, but several
wardens saw nothing amiss as building stones were carried past
their noses and dumped just a few metres from the 2,500BC temple
of Borg in-Nadur at Birzebbugia
The Nationalist Party remains jubilant after its victorious Maltese
styled landslide. But it may extend its period of celebration
with the goings on in the Labour Party and draconian moves to
keep George Abela out of the contest.

The parliamentary fate of Labour candidate Prof. Louis Buhagiar
was sealed on Wednesday during the Labour Party meeting of the
national executive when it was decided that George Vella should
relinquish his seat on the third district instead of the fifth.
