MaltaToday edges closer to Independent on Sunday

In the most recent survey published by Informa consultants, MaltaToday readership more than doubled when it jumped 2.6 percent to reach 4.3 percent of the market share.

The Malta Independent on Sunday dropped by 0.4 percent to 6.7. MaltaToday was first published as a Sunday newspaper two years ago. The Malta Independent on Sunday was founded over 11 years ago. Commenting on the survey results, Managing editor Saviour Balzan said: "This survey confirms our results. We can confirm that MaltaToday is at par with The Malta Indcpendent on Sunday in a number of areas, and we are close to getting there in the more traditional localities.

"This is great news for the staff at Newsworks, and we look forward to increasing our market share in the weeks and months to come.”
