Environment minister George Pullicino “is gathering the necessary information” about MEPA Board member Ronald Azzopardi and told MaltaToday he will make his position known at the opportune time.
Azzopardi, who according to sources close to the MEPA board was chosen to sit on the board because of this business expertise, was recently the victim of a shooting in Sliema.
MaltaToday had asked minister Pullicino, who is responsible for MEPA, whether he felt that Azzopardi’s position on the Board was tenable given his financial track record.
