According to the article carried in last Sunday’s issue of MaltaToday a “merciless driving test fails 50 per cent of candidates”.
Is it possible that now that we are in the EU we have to face such a test instead of the former easy going driving test?
Would it be too much to hope that it would now be time to introduce a stringent test to be able to obtain a bird shooting licence, again to conform to EU standards?
Such a test should emphasise the safety factor more than anything else, something that is totally lacking at present.
