HSBC Malta has relaunched its commercial banking division to provide the Maltese businessmen and entrepreneurs with a dedicated business banking service based on building closer relationships with the banks’ customers with the communications theme: We understand that business is personal.
HSBC Chief Executive Shaun Wallis explains, “HSBC Malta is committed to supporting the business community. The re-organisation of our Commercial Banking division will focus on providing a more personal service.”
James Dunbar Cousin, newly appointed HSBC Head of Commercial Banking, adds: “Research has shown us that the business community requires a sole point of reference, a Relationship Manager who can understand the specific needs of that particular business. Above all, these business leaders need fast decisions. HSBC’s Business Banking service aims to provide the Maltese business community with a better level of support to continue moving our national economy forward. We are also working on a number of new products used elsewhere in the world to support local businesses.”
HSBC’s Business Banking service will be offered to business customers through the six Commercial Centres located in bank branches in Valletta, Paola, Sliema, Birkirkara, Mosta and Gozo, and through HSBC’s Commercial Branch located at Hexagon House in Blata l-Bajda. Each Commercial Centre is run by an Area Commercial Manager who has specialized local business knowledge and experience. Key to this dedicated service is the Relationship Manager’s commitment to delivering a high quality service to individual business owners.
With some 270,000 staff across 9,500 offices in 80 countries, HSBC provides a global bank network for business across the world.
