It is surely within the public’s expectations that the seabed be cleaned at St George’s Bay, St Julians. There are stones, bricks, and filthy sand. The former Drydocks workers can do the dredging job.
The building of a restaurant on the side should not be a priority as it will be an eyesore.
Clean waters and a clean seabed are top priority for Maltese and tourists alike.
Besides cleaning the seabed out to Casino point one expects that cabin cruisers and all powerboats will be kept out of the beach area to avoid pollution. It’s time to do the job before summer.
Let us hope that deck chairs on hire will not take the space and choke the beach.
