Clement Hassid has been appointed the new General Manager of the Hilton Malta hotel.
With over twenty-five years experience in the hospitality and catering industry, especially in the Mediterranean region, Egyptian-born Hassid has been at the helm of a number of highly successful hotels and hotel-chain operations.
Having a strong background in hotel sales and marketing, for the past twenty years Hassid has been General Manager of some of the more prestigious hotels in the region, such as the Dan Tel Aviv, The Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza, the Sheraton Tel Aviv, the Hilton Jerusalem hotel as well as, more recently, the Hilton Izmir, Turkey.
Past chairman of the Jerusalem Hotel Association as well as the Israel Hotel Managers Association, amongst others, Clement Hassid has also been the recipient of a number of international awards, including the Hilton International Core Value Award which he received in 2003.
Proficient in six languages, whilst counting Innovation Implementation and Employee Motivation as key areas of his expertise, Hassid is very optimistic about his latest appointment and is looking forward to his tenure as General Manager of the Hilton Malta: “I’m really looking forward to knowing and feeling Malta and, of course, to my Maltese lessons,” he said on taking up the new appointment.
