Bargain Holidays, by far the largest tour operator to Malta from the UK, has shot down claims by the Malta Tourism Authority that it had met with all UK tour operators.
Referring to media reports this week, a spokesperson for Bargain Holidays told MaltaToday that MTA has never met with them or requested to have a meeting.
“Although we are the largest tour-operator to Malta carrying more passengers than the biggest two altogether, nobody from the MTA met us, or requested to meet us,” the spokesperson said.
