Dr Joseph Fava of Marsaskala certainly seems to be coming from some forgotten year within the Middle Ages, the way he writes.
For Heaven’s sake, just take a look at the way you write… or at best, seek a second opinion about it.
Certainly, I simply cannot find it within myself to use a time machine and move over to his particular time-warped mentality in trying to answer his correspondence.
Just one thing, though. For all the learning that this Fava shows in his, letter, he fails to realise that he has put his foot in his mouth: the Catholic Church is not, and will never be “the Church of Benedict” but it is the Church of God. I know that many are those who, like our Fava, would prefer Benedict to God. But I, for one, will stand up and deny myself membership of this Church if it were to be so!
