AIB, the Maltese Association of Insurance Brokers announces the election of John Tortell, ACII ICFA for Jatco Insurance Brokers Ltd, as the Association’s new Chairman.
During its 2005 General meeting the Association Council also elected Lawrence Pavia, Managing Director for Island Insurance Brokers Ltd as Vice-chairman, and Joseph Cutajar, Managing Director for Aon Malta Ltd as Honorary Secretary. John Mifsud, Manager for Melita Insurance Brokers Ltd, has been re-elected as the Association’s Treasurer.
The Association of Insurance Brokers (the AIB) is open to members licensed by MFSA to transact the business of insurance broking. Its membership today includes twelve of Malta’s leading Insurance Broking firms. All the members are abided by the same code of Ethics and Professional conduct to help their clients to carefully assess their insurance needs, to advise them of the best cover and to guide them through the claim process.
