The avian flu eliminators

I think it is only right and proper that in a democracy a particular group is criticised but we should not bite our nose to spite our face.
The media is saturated with the dangers of the avian flu. It is also reasonable to assume that winged creatures migrating between continents carry an undesirable baggage with them. While one should not be in favour of the indiscriminate hunting and trapping of birds, are those opposed to hunting the benefactors they purport to be?
Finally enough subscribers to certain ideologies are very much against the procreation of children and in favour of aborting those conceived but are the most vociferous anti hunting lobbyists. But the reasoning of these individuals not only imperils them but all of us. The demographic problem all over Europe and the pension time bomb which is one of its many consequences is but one example of the problems created by such an ideology.
We have to admit that hunters perform a worthwhile function for which they are ready to pay out of their own pocket, a boom to the economy. Suffice to say that certain European cities and suburbs, very keen on curbing hunting, are experiencing a virtual invasion by marauding wolves and other carnivores, a peril to citizens, especially the most vulnerable such as small children.
Hunters and trappers in our countryside are an unpaid militia, discouraging by their presence certain crimes, such as murders by Satanists or the undetected landing of illegal immigrants on our shores.
