I respond to J Bonett Balzan’s sad letter (MaltaToday of 23 October 2005). If s/he bothered to view homosexuality as something other than a scourge (rather than question the directive from wherever s/he imbibed it thereby reducing his ability to use her/his brain to an inert mass of faff), the content of the letter in question would have had a different tone entirely. Or better still, there would not have been any need for it to be penned and would have saved the writer time and effort (and deprived this, and other MaltaToday readers, of a fit of the giggles).
