Further to the various comments made in the local press regarding the recent spate of tit-for-tat political diatribes in which we have witnessed, of late, some striking examples of “the pot calling the kettle black”, the bemused Maltese public at large cannot I feel but draw one sad conclusion: that our two main political parties, represented in Parliament, are presently either suffering from a bout of acute amnesia or, better still, are helpless victims of a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde syndrome that has lowered their credibility to ground level zero!
The nation deserves much better!
