MaltaToday journalist Gilbert Calleja branded my entry to the Europart 2006 “insipid”. Does this refer to my entry as an artistic photograph or is it “insipid” in the subject matter when compared to the two prints which he finds objectionable?
I was approached by the organisers to submit a number of slides after they viewed a collection of photographs exhibited at the NBK Art Centre in Berlin, entitled “The Cultural Year of the Ten”.
I have been exhibiting my photographic works in international salons since 1978. To date I have over 3,000 acceptances and have won over 190 major awards.
Hoping that this will help Gilbert Calleja update his files and give better coverage on the next occasion.
