Not surprisingly, the Sunday Times dedicated its back page to the unveiling of a pro-life monument in Mosta by Gift of Life. No further comments needed about this.
I will readily contribute towards a movement that will remind future generations of the days when the government denied Maltese citizens the right of divorce in Malta. It should also remind those Maltese living in Malta, whose marriage has failed, that the government traded their civil rights to the Vatican in 1994.
As the cries for the right to divorce grow stronger, the day when divorce is legalised may not be too far away and this social injustice finally laid to rest.
