Frans Sammut’s Da Vinci decoder

Why Frans Sammut decided to use his time to write about The Da Vinci Code is beyond me. Sammut’s book, called Frans Sammut On The Da Vinci Code, purports to expose to its readers the untruths written by Dan Brown. On the contrary, it is a muddled attempt to ride on the wave of controversy created by the international bestseller.
The only good feature of this book is that it is in English and in Maltese, which shows an appreciation of our bilingual culture. Otherwise, the author believes he can explain away the riddles of The Da Vinci Code in 37 pages! I would have thought more than twice before writing a book like that!
