Labour MP Silvio Parnis yesterday refused to answer questions put to him by MaltaToday on allegations that he had inherited properties from elderly third persons. MaltaToday asked Parnis if he would rebut the allegations, instead the Labour parliamentarian, who also acts as a host of a controversial programme on Smash TV dealing with the underclass, insisted that questions are sent to parliament for his perusal.
Repeated questioning whether he would rebut the allegations, where met with the answer that politics “is not carried out in this manner.”
Silvio Parnis, a former health attendant is a popular Labour MP in Paola and has been in the attention of the press regarding a number of allegations about his lifestyle and TV programme, the latter which he uses to help directly those on the poverty line.
