Reference is made to the news report entitled ‘iSoft software dropped by Sheffield NHS trust’, which appeared last Sunday.
The title may not have given the whole picture but as correctly stated in the text of the article, it is to be noted that the Sheffield NHS Trust is still using iSoft Software.
The Sheffield NHS Trust was seeking an alternative software system instead of the three it currently uses but due to delays that hampered the installation of the new system, which was to be provided by iSoft, the independent trust said it was seeking “an alternative solution”.
One of the solutions could see the Sheffield hospital extend one of its current iSoft or McKesson software systems.
