SmartCity – good for workers, the south and Malta

I am really amazed by your criticism in the pages of your newspaper (MaltaToday, 17 September 2006, of the project in the south of Malta at Ricasoli.
The fact that this project is going to galvanize 5,600 more jobs many of them to southern boys is good for our employment situation. In your piece you tried to ridicule jobs as cleaners, and other odd jobs. On this matter I take you to task and demand an apology from you to workers working as cleaners, servants, maintenance men for degrading their valuable work.
I also would like to state that it seems that you criticized SmartCity@Malta so that you can criticise Minister Austin Gatt. But it is Minister Gatt who is bringing millions of euros in foreign investment and not you. Grow up and be Smart, dear sir.
