It is not our intention to enter into a controversy over PBS’s decision to cancel the programme Skartocc as of January (MT: 10/12/06).
The bottom line is this. Is Skartocc one of the best satirical programmes ever aired on Maltese TV? Yes. Did Skartocc become one of the viewers’ favourite programmes in just two months? Yes. Do PBS viewers have a right to watch what they want rather than what the PBS Editorial Board likes? Yes. The rest is bullshit.
