Dog droppings in Naxxar

I’m not very happy with the Naxxar local council at the moment. I wrote to them a couple of times over the past few weeks about the pavement surrounding Dun Karm Xerri Primary School being perpetually full of dog pooh.  You can imagine how difficult it is to steer an excitable three-year-old around them every morning and afternoon.
Rather than clean the pavement and enforce the “no animal pooh in the streets” regulations, they have now installed four large recycling bins on the west side, just a few metres away from one of the school gates. Some considerate compatriots have already deposited their garbage bags against the bins, which subsequently tore open. You can imagine the stench and state of the place.
Now therefore, parents escorting their little ones to and from school, need to manoeuvre round pooh and rubbish, whilst trying hard not to panic at the thought of the millions of bugs residing thereon.
Bravo!
