Reference is made to the article “The Pope Is Not Welcome” by Dr Anna Mallia published on last Sunday’s MaltaToday (21 January 2007).
The Office of the Prime Minister states that assertion in the article that the Prime Minister intends to suggest to Parliament that the powers of the President of the Court to assign duties to judges be removed and given to the President of the Republic is completely false and groundless.
