What are we waiting for?

I read with interest the MaltaToday editorial of the 17 August 2008. The question posed – i.e., What is the minister waiting for to implement the right to legal access during detention? – has also been forthcoming from MPs on the government side.
In fact, Nationalist MP Dr Franco Debono, who is a criminal lawyer by profession, has raised the same issue in Parliament in the sitting of 25 June 2008.
