Hats off to Dr Anna Mallia for her article ‘Do not use children in the divorce debate’ (MaltaToday 9 September).
Anna Mallia revealed the hypocrisy of those who keep usng the children of broken marriages as an excuse to justify their opposition to divorce.
All I wish to add is this: what excuse do they have in cases where the couple has no children? Or where the children have grown up and the parents live on their own?
Do they still oppose divorce in such circumstances?
