Edward Demicoli to head Dalli’s EU cabinet

Edward Demicoli, the spokesperson for the European Commission’s representation in Malta, will be John Dalli’s cabinet chief, MaltaToday has learnt. Demicoli, son of PN activist Charles Demicoli, was formerly a journalist for Radio 101 and The People. He then became spokesperson for foreign minister Joe Borg, who went on to become Malta’s first EU Commissioner.
In 2009, he contested the European Parliament elections on the Nationalist Party ticket but failed to get elected.
