One of the most awaited summer festivals has returned after a brief break last year. Spread over 3 days the HardRock Cafe, Beland Music Festival is back and bringing legendary acts this time round. Everything will kick off at 8.00 pm where each day two bands will be competing in the Beland Music Contest supported by PRS for Music. The competing bands in this year's Beland Music Contest are: Xarulu, WaterWings, Oxygyn, Vinyl Paradise, The Voyage and Relikc.

Alphaville | Wednesday, July 5th at 8:00PM

For the first time ever, the Beland Music Festival will be headlined by an original international band. Alphaville - a European synthpop/new wave band which gained popularity in the 1980s will be coming to Malta for a full live show as part of this festival. They achieved chart success with the singles "Big in Japan", "Jet Set", "Dance With Me" and "Forever Young".

Chris Norman|Thursday, July 6th at 8:00PM

Former front-man of Smokie, Chris Norman, will be headlining Thursday night with a live show for the first time ever in Malta. Chris and the Band released a string of hit singles over the years, including “If You Think You Know How To Love Me,” “Living Next Door To Alice,” Mexican Girl,” “It´s Your Life” and “Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone”.

Organised by a team of volunteers, the Beland Music Festival started in 2011 as a way to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Beland Band and aims to serve as a platform for the development and promotion of local artists in the musical sector by combining established headlining artistis with up-and-coming artists. This blend creates an attractive atmosphere that allows the audience to appreciate the wide range of talents available in Malta.
