YachtHub Group and Ripard Group set up Premium Power Sports

YachtHub Group and Ripard Group have set up the new joint venture Premium Power Sports, the exclusive distributor for Seadoo Jet Skies, Evinrude Outboards, Rotax Engines, Can-Am Spyder, Can-AM off road vehicles and BRP commercial conversions such as search and rescue skies, in addition to other brands that include Zodiac and Avon Ribs.

Premium Power Sports Limited will be located at Portomaso Marina. The joint venture company will be the main distributor and will be providing directly and through dealers, sales of all the products mentioned above, spare parts and service. 

YachtHub Group Managing Director, Charlo Briffa said that the new venture will see the integration and consolidation of the resources which will mean further improvement in the service given to existent and new clients.

“This joint venture with RLR will consolidate our position as the leading supplier of recreational motorised products and services in the Maltese Islands.  BRP is world renowned and we are excited that we have been chosen by RLR and subsequently by BRP to set up Premium Power Sport Limited and to strategically position BRP portfolio of products and services to the next level. ”

Darius Goodwin from Ripard Group said that the new venture will see the strengthening of the sales and after-sales team through the merger of the best talents on the island in this sector.

“Our clients, through this merger, will benefit from quicker response time and a comprehensive service.  Quick service will be provided on site from Portomaso whilst all other services will be provided from Maghtab, the latter being RLR’s existent after sales premises. For better accessibility, clients will be able to purchase spare parts from three locations, mainly, Premium Power Sport in Portomaso, RLR in Ta’ Xbiex, and A1 Motor sports in Qormi.”     

A1 Motor sports will  continue to be the company’s dealer and will provide sales, parts and service. Premium Power Sport Limited will be looking at appointing other dealers for the development of the Can-Am range of products.
