A night of chilled out indie folk music at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida. DJ Bob will be spinning everything from classic stuff (Jackson C Frank, Nick Drake) to ultra contemporary (Lucas Sattana, Laura Gibson) to the slightly different stuff (Ariel... Amazing Adventure

Concert by The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra at The Manoel Theatre, Valletta, 18:00. Presenting the Orchestra's Music Education Programmes for children, youths and their families with a number of morning performances for students and an evening performance for the general public; presented by Sara Spiteri with special effects and 3D projections by Nicholas Critien illustrating works by Beethoven, Smetana, Stravinsky, Williams and young Maltese composer Steve Psaila.

Random Hand (UK) Dripht Kontroll

Cult UK punk band Random Hand will be joined by local acts Dripht and Kontroll at V-Gen, Ball Street, Paceville. Doors open at 20:00. Tickets are at €7 advance, €10 on the door. Brikkuni - Trabokk launch

Popular folk-pop act Brikkuni will be launching their eagerly-awaited sophomore album at City Theatre, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, 20:30. They will be joined by local ambient electro solo act YEWS. The concert will be divided into two, with one part focusing exclusively on new material, the other on established material.

A Baroque Carnival

Maleth Theatre production of the musical based on Lewis Carroll's children's classic, Alice in Wonderland, at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta. When you hear my voice

Performance by inmates from the Corradino Correctional Facility Young Offenders Unit at St James Cavalier, Valletta, 19:30. The production will incorporate excerpts from the works of William Shakespeare and other canonical thinkers and writers, along with works by young offenders from various countries. The inmates will be joined by West End, London-based actress and performer Laura Pitt-Pulford and local actors Andre Agius, Luke Farrugia, Alexander Gatesy-Lewis and Joseph Zammit. Directed by Bruce Wall as part of The London Shakespeare Workout. Tickets are at €15. Bookings open soon.

A collaborative visual arts project between Adrian Abela and Nigel Baldacchino at Upper Galleries, St James Cavalier, Valletta. Focusing on the paradox of the Mediterranean Sea, mainly concerning Malta as a small European island State. The project will also include a sculpture and video.

Citrus Festival

Festival of citrus fruit held at San Anton Palace, Attard. The public will have the opportunity to visit the garden where oranges are grown, while raising funds for Id-Dar tal-Providenza. Visitors will be able to walk around the gardens and the orange grove, or enjoy food prepared by the Palace kitchen and sold from various stands. An entertainment programme will also be organised.
