Free entrance to three Heritage Malta sites

Three Heritage Malta sites will be open for free to the general public this Saturday, a public holiday.

The sites included in this open day are Ghar Dalam near Birzebbuga, the National Museum of Fine Arts in Valletta, and the Domvs Romana in Rabat, which on the day will also be celebrating the Feast of St Joseph.

Guided tours of these museums will also take place during the day. The National Museum of Fine Arts, which is currently also hosting an exhibition entitledFace Value by Madeleine Gera, will be offering a tour of the museum in Maltese at 14:00.

At the Domvs Romana, a tour will commence at 11:30 while at Ghar Dalam, a tour in Maltese will take place at 11:00 and at 14:00. Treasure Hunts for children will also be available at the National Museum of Fine Arts and Ghar Dalam throughout the day.

During this event, members of the general public will also have the opportunity to join and become a member of Heritage Malta.

Membership will be available at a reduced price from any of these sites. Membership benefits include the possibility of visiting Heritage Malta sites for free (with Hypogeum entrance at half price) and discounted prices for special events organised by Heritage Malta. 

Doors will be open from 09:00 till 17:00, last admission at 16:30.
