Unstable Night III

Violin-Piano recital

New Choral Singers in concert with Norwegian choir
The New Choral Singers and the Norwegian choir Kammerkoret Nesodden/Frogn in collaboration with the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation, present a concert of sacred music on the occasion of World Hospice & Palliative Care Day 2011 at the St John’s Co-Cathedral. Choir Directors: Robert Calleja, Gunnar Bjerknes-Haugen,
Mezzo Soprano: Marianne E. Andersen and organist Timothy Guntrip. Entrance is free of charge. However, a retiring collection in aid of Hospice Malta is being held.
Guests are kindly requested to refrain from wearing stiletto and narrow heeled shoes which are prohibited on the inlaid marble floor of the Co-Cathedral. Begins at 19:30.

OCTOBER 14
Lumiere + Skimmed
Alternative rock band Lumiere will re-unite for a one-off gig at V-Gen, Ball Street Paceville, with support by post-punk band Skimmed. Doors open at 21:00.

OCTOBER 15
Modena City Ramblers live
The Italian folk-rock band will be performing at V-Gen, Ball Street, Paceville, with support from local folk act Plato’s Dream Machine. Tickets are at €18 and can be bought from V-Gen, Rockabilly (Mosta), Blush & Panic (Valletta) and The Fish Lounge (St Julian’s). Tickets at the door will be at €22. Doors open at 21:00.

Beangrowers live in Malta
The popular alternative rock band return to Malta for a gig at V-Gen, Ball Street, Paceville. Supporting acts to be announced. Doors open at 21:00.

Joseph Paul Busuttil. 50 Years On
An exhibition of works by Joe Busuttil at the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta.  
Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 09:00 till 16:30 (Last Admission: 16:00). Free entrance.

Il-Familja
Collective art exhibition by William Azzopardi, Fabio Borg and Ray Azzopardi, including installations, watercolours, oil and acryllic paintings as well as wooden sculptures at Is-Salvatur il-Qadim at the Old Chapel, Lija. Even More Four Play
DnA Theatre Productions return with another edition of their satirical sketches at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University campus, Tal-Qroqq. Sketches – written by Malcolm Galea, James Calvert and Alan Montanaro – will be directed by Denise Mullholland, Herman Grech, Chiara Hyzler and Wesley Ellul.
