Tourism Minister, Air Malta CEO challenged to take up ALS ice bucket challenge

Westin Dragonara Resort Malta general manager leads staff members and guests in taking up the ALS ice bucket challenge

Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis and Air Malta CEO Louis Giordimaina were among the three nominated by Westin Dragonara Resort Malta to take up the ALS ice bucket challenge.

Will they accept the challenge? The pair has 24 hours to complete the challenge.

Westin Dragonara was challenged by Hilton Malta. Westin Dragonara general manager Michael Camilleri Kamsky accepted the challenge and was joined in by 30 staff members and a number of guests.

Westin also nominated Starwood Hotels vice president Robert Koren.

“You guys have 24 hours to complete the challenge or you have to donate to the ALS foundation - or both,” Camilleri Kamsky said.

The ALS ice bucket change, originally to raise awareness in the US on a muscular illness, known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, has gone viral around the world.
