Elizabeth Taylor laid to rest
Dame Elizabeth Taylor was late for her own funeral, just as she had requested.
The private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California on Thursday began 15 minutes after it was scheduled.
The Hollywood legend was laid to rest at the same cemetery as her friend, Michael Jackson.
Taylor died on Wednesday in Los Angeles after suffering congestive heart failure. She was 79.
The actress first gained major fame when she was just 12 after starring in National Velvet.
