The Malta Film Commission has embarked on an international marketing campaign with the objective of making Malta more visible through a coordinated advertising strategy covering the major film industry trade magazines and their online outlets.

The Malta Film Commission kick-started its new approach with a series of incentives for the industry, from upgrading cash rebates up to 27% to filmmakers; the launch of the co-production equity fund; the introduction of a writer’s grant and the revision of a new mechanism of the development fund as part of the Malta Film Fund.
