Conchita to sing at Malta Eurovision Song Contest

Conchita Wurst, winner of last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, will be the opening act of the 2014-15 Malta Eurovision Song Contest. This was revealed by PBS producer Gordon Bonello during Friday’s edition of ‘Xarabank’.

 “I’m totally excited and happy that I can be with you on 22 November for the national finals of Malta for the Eurovision Song Contest and it’s going to be great!” Conchita said in a short video clip.

Thomas Neuwirth, better known as Conchita Wurst, won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Rise like a Phoenix’ receiving a total of 291 points. This means that the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna, Austria.
