Preparations begin for BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation Christmas concert

The Maltese Tenor will once again be performing at a Christmas Concert on the 27 December 2014

Following last year’s success, the Maltese Tenor will once again be performing at a Christmas Concert on the 27 December 2014. The countdown has started and preparations are well underway to ensure that this will once again be a memorable evening for all those present.

This concert will be ‘an intimate affair’ with a venue capacity of just 800 people who will be able to enjoy a unique Christmas concert with Joseph Calleja as the protagonist, accompanied by guest singers and the BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s choir. The children are already rehearsing hard for the event, under the direction of the soprano Gillian Zammit, who works with unfailing dedication for this concert.

Seats for the concert are available against a donation of €100 each, and can be reserved through the booking website http://www.ooii.com.mt.

All donations raised through this event will go towards the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation, set up last October to help exceptionally talented children in the field of the performing arts to realise their full potential. The Foundation also supports children with difficult social backgrounds and those whose situations are not catered for by existing social support programmes.
