Popular local artists take part in Sliema music marathon to raise funds for new ALS Malta foundation

A 14-hour music marathon took place in St. Anne’s Square, Sliema, to raise funds for ALS Malta – a new foundation set up to raise awareness of the neurodegenerative disease.

The marathon featured some of Malta’s popular artists and bands, including Texanna, Firelight, and Destiny Chukunyere.

ALS Malta was founded by 28-year-old Bjorn Formosa, who was diagnosed with the motor neurone disease in July.
