Chinese artists shine at MCC
On the occassion of the Valletta Chinese Spring Festival 2011, the Mediterranean Conference Centre in collaboration with the China Cultural Centre is once again presenting a spectacular performance of Chinese performing arts at the Republic Hall, MCC today from 20:00.
The general public is in for a wonderful evening as the programme will feature the China Heilongjiang Art Troupe, consisting of 30 outstanding artists, and will include the crème of China’s traditional art forms, such as acrobatics, magic, Chinese classical dance and music, just to mention a few.
Renowned Chinese musicians will take the stage and present traditional Chinese music on unique Chinese instruments, which will allow the audiences to experience the original charm of the oriental melody. Moreover the troupe will also perform extracts from renowned operas such as ‘Nessun Dorma’ amongst others.
