The luxury property brand launched locally in June 2013, opening headquarters in Swatar close to CSB Group; the parent company which originally attracted Sotheby's Real Estate to Malta. Responding to the increased demand for high-end real estate from both locals and international buyers taking advantage of the tax and fiscal benefits of Maltese residence, Malta SIR has established itself as the niche luxury agency catering for the discerning, qualified international buyer seeking commercial or residential real estate services and a luxurious lifestyle.

Located at street level in a brand new attractive building, the new office space is sleek and stylish with white interiors, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the shoreline, modern technology allowing visitors to browse properties via computers, screens and on paper, and a specialist team of associates on hand to assist with property enquiries. At night, intelligent lighting creates a stunning window display of the luxury properties in the agency's portfolio for passers-by to browse on the busy street.

Malta Sotheby's International Realty General Manager Ian Zammit is delighted with the latest expansion of the brand in Malta, saying: "This office places us in one of the busiest streets in Malta, with foot traffic ranging from holidaymakers and visitors, business people located in the area, and local residents. Over the last six months we have been carefully building our brand, launching our luxury website, crafting a property portfolio which ranges from Palazzos, Seafront Apartments, Colonial Homes, Penthouses and Villas, and working with the global team at Sotheby's International Realty to promote Malta across the 650 affiliate offices of the brand. We are now ready to open our doors to the public and showcase our specialised real estate service to existing and potential clients via the first Malta Sotheby's International Realty outlet office."

The new office will specialise in residential sales/lettings, and commercial property, and will be open from 9.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday, and 10.00am - 12noon on Saturdays. This public space will allow those interested in the property to meet the brands' associates in person to fully discuss their needs, and is backed by the popular Malta Sotheby's International Realty niche property portal: www.maltasothebysrealty.com.

The new office launch follows the first official inauguration of high-end realty brand Malta Sotheby's International Realty that took place in June at the Hilton Quarterdeck, Portomaso where Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth, Edward Zammit Lewis and Sotheby's International Realty CEO Philip White addressed guests.

Malta Sotheby's International Realty will be aiming to serve the high-end residential and commercial real estate market throughout the island of Malta & Gozo, representing properties of exceptional quality, unique characteristics and good value for money. Described as being a brand that is the pure embodiment of luxury and prestige, the presence of the Sotheby's International Realty brand in Malta means that its global clientele will now have access to real estate services in this historic and beautiful country which is Malta.
