Valletta Fund Management, Fund Services team up to host children from Fra Diegu Home

Valletta Fund Management Limited and Valletta Fund Services Limited, subsidiaries of Bank of Valletta plc, have hosted the children from Fra Diegu Home in Hamrun in what turned out to be a highly enjoyable day.

Nine children and their respective helpers were invited to a guided tour of the Malta National Aquarium and provided information on an impressive collection of fish species present in the various tanks. 

Thereafter, all the children enjoyed free time at the playing field on the belvedere and were invited to lunch. The event came to an end with all the children being handed Christmas gifts by the members of the Quality Committee represented by members from both companies which made this event a memorable one for all the children.   

Kenneth Farrugia, Director on the Board of Valletta Fund Management said that “these events form part of the corporate social responsibility initiatives organised by both companies from time to time”.

Farrugia concluded by expressing his appreciation to the members of the Quality Committee who took up their free time over the weekend dedicating this to the less fortunate members of our society.

Sister Silvia, who is responsible for Fra Diegu Home, thanked the management and staff of both companies for their kindness and for dedicating time and effort towards this highly noble cause.
