MIA appoints Alan Borg as temporary CEO
Borg replaces Markus Klaushofer who had served as the Malta International Airport's CEO since 2011

Alan Borg has been announced as interim chief executive officer at the Malta International Airport.
He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Airline Marketing at MIA.
He replaces Austrian Markus Klaushofer who was appointed CEO back in 2011.
“The Chairman and the Board of Directors would like to thank Klaushofer for his leadership and contribution to the company since his appointment in 2011,” the MIA said in a short statement.
