Creative agency BRND WGN has announced the appointment of Chris Sykes, Chief Executive of Volume Global, as chairman. 

Sykes joins BRND WGN as the agency’s first chairman in line with the company’s #2020 vision to grow internationally.

BRND WGN founder and chief executive Peter-Jan Grech said: “Chris’ strong experience in global markets and his dynamic entrepreneurial spirit will provide invaluable guidance, and bring an objective perspective to our leadership as we enter our 10th year of operations.”

Sykes, who is also Volume Ltd’s founder, said: “I’ve watched the BRND WGN team grow and develop over a few years. What they have achieved together is truly outstanding. I’m therefore privileged to be asked to be the agency’s chairman and am looking forward to helping take the BRND WGN brand and creativity to new global markets.”

The two agencies have a longstanding relationship that was strengthened in January 2014 when they signed a formal strategic partnership. The agreement allowed the companies to leverage talent and resources, creating a broader capability and scale to support existing and new clients globally.
