Telecommunication company Melita has launched its new logo to accompany its rebrand, following a series of other changes.

“We’re not just changing our skin. Over the past months, we have worked very hard to improve the service and experience we provide to our customers,” CEO Harald Roesch said, promising more news in the next weeks about changes Melita is making.

Recently, Melita has introduced four customer service promises, including speedy installation, efficient repairs and maintenance, internet speed and call centre response time.

In a statement, Melita said it had the shortest call waiting times in Malta to reach its customer care centre by telephone, with an average of 30 seconds in the last six months. The company added that it was the only operator to publish its call centre waiting times online.

It also said it was installing new internet modems in homes and offices to provide a better WiFi experience, as well as offering innovations such as Melita Flexi, Malta’s first “Build Your Own” bundle, and Melita NexTV, a new TV service with advanced features, available with Flexi.

“The new Melita is a forward-thinking brand, ready to bring the future to Malta. Training programmes are underway to align all staff members to the new brand values in line with the objective of becoming the most approachable telecom company in Malta and better listeners,” Melita’s statement read.

Roesch added that Melita looked forward to the potential merger with Vodafone.
